Diamond, the beloved bassist, tragically dies from a broken heart as the drummer, Denny Slumdog, is arrested for assaulting a Cardinals fan. Dan and John McGlaughlin, the band's charismatic front men, become disillusioned with their effort to keep their fractured band and broken dreams together.
